Software:
The process parameters Set point, Process Variable and Control Variable can be
observed on line in real-time.
View or print Individual or Overlaid plots.
Zoom and print a portion of the plots.
Save the runs on a file for post-analysis or future.
The response of the PID controller for a user defined, SINE, SQUARE, RAMP
setpoints facilities are available.
This is useful when understanding the PID response for a continuously varying
setpoints such as an aircraft's altitude control etc.
Note: IBM PC is not included in this unit.

Parallel Port to connect the Interface card.
Monitor resolution: 800 x 600 or more, 16-bit high color.

Real time DC motor speed control interface
DC motor speed control is an actual system to perform real time 2nd order
control system. This system consist of a PMDC motor coupled to a Tacho Generator
with necessary interface electronics suitably calibrated to achieve the real
time 1st order control.
Simulator interface network:
An OPTIONAL attachment to PID-2 can be added to introduce second and third order
NETWORK. This network can be connected to the PID trainer in EXTERNAL Mode.
