Air Conditioning Cycle test rig illustrate
the application of the principles of thermodynamics in the field of air
conditioning and facilitates investigation of all normal air conditioning
process. The unit comprises of duct system delivery fan unit for air flow ,
inlet air heating and humidification, mixing, air-cooling with condense removal
and measurement of air reheating all mounted on a self contained movable stand.
The stand. The detailed specifications are as follows:
1.Air output : 1000 cfm (Cubic Feet/minute)
2.Preheater Electric Heating Elements 2 KV with heat control from an electronic
dimmerstat
3.Cooler Direct expansion extended fin coil
4.Re heater : As per pre heater
5.Fan : Axial Flow Type
6.Boiler : Electrical heated and working at atmospheric pressure.

Compressor 1 HP Hermitically sealed Kirloskar/Shriram /Any other Reputed Brand
Condensor : Air Cooled
Thermostat : Danfoss make
Thermostatic expansion valve : Danfoss make
Pressure Gauges : Two Nos
Volt meter and Ammeter
Energy Meter : From Orifice and Manometer
Power Measurement: From Voltmeter, Ammeter for Heaters and Fan energy for
Compressor
Temperature Measurement : By four thermometers, Wet and Dry thermometers, 3 Sets
Placed at Different points in the duct and 4 nos. Thermometers (For Required
