It is used to find out the nitrogen content in fertilizers, food products etc.
Two stages are involved. 1. Digestion 2. Distillation process
The view port is covered with thick smoke glass and encircled with foam wall.
In cases of small labs where few sample are to be tested, one heating mantle or
hot plate is sufficient for both digestion & distillation continuously,
following equipments are required to run both digestion & distillation
continuously.
