a. INDICA DIESEL Engine new, Diesel Engine test rig consisting of Four Cylinder Four Stroke diesel engine
b. Loading Device : Coupled with 6KVA capacity alternator single base plate. Water resistance loading arrangement. The water rheostat loading device consisting of a suitable capacity M.S. tank and a screw rod with hand wheel, conical copper rod to immerse in water for loading, voltmeter and ammeter are used to find out the total load acting on the engine or power output of the engine.
c. Fuel Measuring Arrangement : Fuel input measurement, consisting of a fuel tank, mounted on a strong stand, measuring of fuel consumption by a burette and three way cock, connecting tube.
d. Cooling Water Arrangement : Cooling pipes, a thermocouples are to determine the heat carried away by cooling water. A water meter is provided to determine the discharge of cooling water.
e. Air Intake Measurement : Arrangement for measuring the heat carried away by exhaust gases consisting of, a suitable capacity air tank, orifice plate, manometer, thermocouples provided to measure room temperature, exhaust gas temperature with pocket connection.
f. Digital Temperature : Multichannel temperature indicator with thermocouples are provided to measure the temperature of cooling water and exhaust gas at various points of the test rigs.
