Single cylinder four stroke diesel engine for retardation test

Single Cylinder four stroke diesel engine test rig with rope brake dynamometer to conduct performance test and economic speed test.
a. Brand new 4 Strokes Single Cylinder, Water-Cooled, Diesel Engine developing about 6HP, at 650 RPM with standard accessories. Like fuel pump nozzle filter etc.
b. LOADING DEVICE: Rope brake consisting of brake drum and rope brake Arrangement with rope, hand wheel, spring balance weight hanger and a set of dead weights for conducting experiments.
c. FUEL MEASURING ARRANGEMENT: Fuel measuring arrangement consisting of fuel tank mounted on a strong iron stand, measurement of fuel consumption by a burette and a three-way cock and connecting tube.
d. AIR INTAKE MEASUREMENT: Arrangement for measuring the heat carried away by exhaust gases consisting of a suitable capacity air tank, orifice plate, manometer, thermocouples provided to measures room temperature exhaust gas temperature with pocket connection.
e. COOLING WATER ARRANGEMENT: Consisting of cooling pipes thermometers and water meter to determine the discharges of cooling water and heated carried away by cooling water.
f. DIGITAL TEMPERATURE: Multi channel Digital temperature indicators with thermocouples are provided to measure the temperatures of cooling water and exhaust gas at various points of the test rigs. Retardation Test to determine the frictional horsepower.
