Twin cylinder four stroke diesel engine test rig with electrical alternator water resistance loading

a. A diesel engine KIRLOSKAR test rig consisting of twin cylinder 4 stroke vertical engine developing about 10HP at 1500 RPM.
b. Loading device: - Coupled with 7.5 KVA capacity single-phase plates with resistance and loading arrangement. The water rheostat loading device consisting of a suitable capacity M.S. tank and a screw rod with hand wheel, aluminum flats to immerse in water for loading, voltmeter and ammeter.
c. Fuel Measuring arrangement: - Fuel measuring arrangement consisting of fuel tank, burette three-way cock all mounted on a suitable frame work and panel board and supplied with fuel piping from fuel tank to engine.
d. Arrangement for measuring the heat carried away by exhaust gas: - Consisting of, an air tank mounted on an iron stand, manometer, dial type distance reading thermometer, with pocket connection with all instruments suitably mounted on panel board.
e. Water and thermometer with pocket connections for measuring inlet and outlet temperature.
a. Exhaust gas calorimeter suitable for the above test rig.
