Visually stunning and thought-provoking, V For Vendetta's political pronouncements may rile some, but its story and impressive set pieces will nevertheless entertain.

Audience Member I typically don’t enjoy action movies because, while they might be exciting for some, the plots often lack depth and meaning—it’s just violence for the sake of action. However, 'V for Vendetta' is different. The violence feels purposeful, tied to the story’s themes of rebellion and justice, which makes it more thought-provoking.When I saw the first part of the movie, i found it so surrealistic. I have never in my life seen a movie with such an original plot as 'V for Vendetta'. It made me realize just how many truly great movies I’ve been missing out on Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review Jay H Sadly, this is more relevant now than ever. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Thats A The most important election slowly comes to an end and this film seems to perfect to not review. “If it happens in the movies it can happen in real life”. This film takes on the battle of a corrupted government and the vengeance of those who suffered from it. Throughout the film, you feel part of the fight for freedom because it’s so relatable to the world’s current state. It is a tale as old as time. Those who are oppressed will fight back and seek vengeance. They did a perfect job of giving the main character a purpose not to be filled with rage but also showing no mercy. The symbolism in this film was abundant every minute of the film. The juxtaposition of these symbols made everything timeless along with the plot. It created a sense of question. “When and where was this film supposed to take place? Past? Present? Future? ”. Answer… It doesn’t matter because as long as there is a government that sadly follows greed. Power to be in control with that comes vengeance from those they seek to rule. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/05/24 Full Review Mark J This film looks amazing and stays relevant after many years. Well written, pacing is good and all the action is amazing. Possibly the only issue is Natalie Portman’s British accent. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/05/24 Full Review Audience Member And epic story, well told and acted! A must - see classic!
